Straightforward answers about profiles, GitHub sign-in and sharing your work.

What is DEV RUN?

DEV RUN is a network for developers who build. It helps developers share work in progress, showcase projects, discover other builders and create a public technical identity.

Who can join DEV RUN?

DEV RUN is for software developers and people learning to build software, including frontend and backend developers, full-stack engineers, AI engineers, open-source contributors, indie hackers, students and technical founders.

How does GitHub sign-in work?

Sign-in uses GitHub OAuth through Supabase Auth. DEV RUN requests basic public profile access and does not request private repository access.

Can I share what I am building?

Yes. You can publish build updates, technical thoughts and questions. Posts can include an optional code snippet or public GitHub repository URL.

Can I showcase my GitHub repositories?

Attach a public GitHub repository to any post. Repository previews appear with the update; the profile page focuses on your identity, activity and contributions.

Can I discover other developers?

Yes. Explore public developer profiles by name, username, bio or technical interests, and follow developers to see their updates.

Can I create a developer profile?

Yes. GitHub provides the linked username and account identity. You can edit profile details such as display name, bio, company, location, role and website in Settings.

Is DEV RUN free?

The current application does not show a billing flow or paid plans. Contact the service operator for current access and pricing information.

Can I edit my developer profile?

Yes. Open Settings to edit your display name, bio, company, location, role, website, visibility and other profile preferences. Your linked GitHub username is protected.

How can I delete my account?

Open Settings, go to Delete account, enter DELETE to confirm, and submit. Account deletion removes your account and its dependent application records.
